BRAMPTON – A growing list of public schools are taking their classrooms outdoors to make the environment a part of lesson plans. The Peel District School Board currently has nine elementary and three high schools offering students a “Classroom Without Walls” program.

An F1 tornado touched down Monday in Bowmanville, Environment Canada said Tuesday. The agency sent a team out to the area east of Toronto to assess the damage.
