Environment Canada Provides Support to Help Haiti’s National Meteorological Service Rebuild Weather Forecasting Capacity

OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – June 18, 2010) – Environment Canada, in coordination with our international colleagues at Météo-France, has helped the Government of Haiti launch their first public meteorological website. The website carries information on weather warnings, alerts, weather bulletins and a five-day weather outlook from the National Meteorological Centre of Haiti (NMC).

Australian environment minister urges not to pass whaling compromise proposal
