Shimla, Sept 13 (PTI) In a siginificant decision, the National Environment Appellate Authority (NEAA) has quashed the environmental clearance granted to the Integrated Cement project of Lafarge India at Karsog in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh.

Environment Canada Expects Active Hurricane Season

Environment Canada is warning people to be prepared for an active Atlantic hurricane season. Chris Fogarty of Environment Canada’s Hurricane Centre says the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association is predicting 8 to 14 hurricanes over the next six months.
