Environment Ministry says no to canal part of Sankosh project (New Kerala)

New Delhi, Aug 12 : With the number of tigers depleting fast, mainly due to degradation of their habitat, the Ministry of Environment and Forests has said a firm no to the proposal of the Power Ministry to build a canal through the famous Buxa Tiger Sanctuary in West Bengal.
