If you’re tired of living in drab surroundings there is a fast and simple way to spruce up any environment and that is with wall mirrors. When properly placed, wall mirrors can change the perception of a room from small to large. These same wall mirrors can be hung just for decorative purposes or with a specific intention in mind. In terms of your décor, wall mirrors can be surrounded by an amazing array of custom frames. Even elegant white mirrors can completely change the look of a room. No matter what type of styling you have in your room, you’re sure to find a perfect fit for wall mirrors and frames.

If you want to open up a room then placing a large wall mirror in a small space will provide the appearance of making that room seem bigger. Following that same philosophy, you can even place mirrors on the ceiling of room to give the perception that a room is taller than it actually is. From a practical standpoint, wall mirrors are also a wonderful way to cover up a hole or a wall that has been otherwise damaged. Mirror placement is also key to utilizing the wall space in your home. For instance, hanging white mirrorsin the hallway by your front door is a delightful way to welcome visitors. Instead of a dark entranceway your guests will be greeted with in a vibrant manner.

You should also be thinking about tapping into the reflective qualities of white mirrors or wall mirrors. This can be accomplished by placing those mirrors behind objects that will be casting off light such as a lamp or candle. There is also nothing wrong with placing mirrors in your dark closet or other corners to throw some much needed illumination that way. Wall mirrors also have a way of drawing attention to certain areas. This especially holds true when you place a mirror over a fireplace mantle. If you have a treasured painting you can use a wall mirror on the opposite wall of that painting to provide a sophisticated reflection.

Take note that mirrors don’t have to be just for walls. You could place white mirrors under a lamp. In doing so, you’ll be bounding back the light from that lamp throughout the room. Coffee tables can also benefit from having custom sized mirrors place on them. You’d be amazed at the levels of depth and openness that can occur in a room when you use wall mirrors this way. Along a long hallway, you can opt for hanging a variety of mirrors in all shapes and sizes to open up that space with some much needed brightness. The bottom line is that pretty much any room in your home can be improved with the addition of white mirrors or wall mirrors.
