Guwahati, Oct 13: Jailed chairman of the outlawed United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) Arabinda Rajkhowa said here Wednesday that a congenial environment for beginning formal peace talks with the government was yet to be created.

Why an artificial turf lawn is a better option

Natural grass has always the option for lawns everywhere in the United States until the advent of synthetic turf which was used in sports arenas in the country. Of course, with the slogan ‘safety first’ that benefited players largely, thanks to lesser instances of injury that not only increased the level of the game but it also ensured that very few players had to sit out of games. This, in turn, gave spectators and fans better games, and so this meant that it was a win-win situation for everyone involved.
And with the spread of the use of synthetic lawn turf to other commercial, recreational and personal areas of application, one of which was the concept of an artificial lawn. And while this took some time to kick off, it was getting more and more apparent that there were more pros to artificial turf than people understood.
For one, the level of maintenance required and the time and money spent in having an artificial turf lawn is significantly lesser than what is required for natural grass. Seeing this, there is a tax rebate that is now offered as installing an artificial lawn ensures that one saves a lot of water and in being environmentally conscious, this benefit counts for a lot especially with the scarcity of water being an issue these days.
And since one can easily find estimates for an artificial lawn if they know the area of the lawn that needs to be covered over the internet, it’s no surprise that this cost-effective option is what people are resorting to these days.
